Traveling Exhibit IN THE GALLERY February 23 – March 2 Ivy Tech Community College is proud to announce the inaugural Dr. Martin Luther King (MLK), Jr. Legacy Project. This project is an ARTIvism exhibition that honors the legacy of Dr. King. All Ivy Tech students were invited to participate in the exhibit by submitting artwork created to honor the legacy he left behind. ARTIvism combines “art” and “activism” and is created to increase social, environmental and technical awareness of communities through the medium of art. South Bend Student Wins 1st Place! Martin Luther King Jr. Legacy Project Scholarship Awards (Best in Show): 1st Place – $400 Pamela Hunt (Essay Winner) 2nd Place – $300 3rd Place – $200 Ivy Tech Community College is proud to display works of art created by its students across the state. All exhibits are open to the public and can be viewed free of charge.
