Design Theory 2013 – Mad Hatter March 25th – April 12th Design Theory’s Mad Hatter Student Exhibit Ivy Tech Community College’s School of Fine Arts and Design will host an exhibit featuring student work from Design Theory class March 25 – April 12. The exhibit’s theme is “Mad Hatter” and will feature hats portraying good vs. evil. Composition color studies in large format posters from the same class will also be on display. The exhibit will be mounted in Ivy Tech’s art gallery, across from room 1150 on the South Bend campus, 220 Dean Johnson Blvd. Gallery hours are 9 am – 5 pm, Monday – Thursday; 9 am – 5 pm on Friday Design Theory introduces theory and color dynamics as applied to compositional design. Includes exploration and application of three-dimensional concepts, human factors and the psychology and social influences of space.
