Joshua Myers has dedicated his life to photography for the past 20+ years. He earned a BA in photography from Purdue University in 1997, and has worked for several years as a freelance photographer in the South Bend area. Currently he is focusing on fine art photography, and teaches photography, lighting, and digital imaging at Ivy Tech Community College and the South Bend Museum of Art. He will graduate in Fall of 2016 with an MFA in photography from Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Myers enjoys working with several photographic processes, from contemporary digital photography, to large format film photography, to 19th century printing techniques. His fine art work is primarily “social landscape” photography, focusing on elements of our everyday environment that can tell us about ourselves and our culture.
