Fine Art Drawings Exhibition – 10/31 – 11/18/2016 The Associate of Fine Arts is a transfer program that provides you with an opportunity to complete the first two years of study leading to a bachelor’s degree in visual arts at colleges, universities and art schools. Students enrolled in the Fine Arts program at Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana are continually exposed to artists, arts organizations, exhibitions and volunteer opportunities. Professional practices are stressed including portfolio creation, showing work in traditional and alternative venues, job and employment opportunities for artists, and best professional practices. Classes are taught by practicing professional artists with years of experience in their fields. Faculty helps students discover their own artistic voice and strengths, building confidence and both a visual and verbal vocabulary. Because class sizes are small, there is a strong sense of rapport, community and support within the program. For more information on the program please contact our office.
