Jesus Arriaga

1. I am studying Visual Communications at Ivy Tech, in particular focusing on Photography.
2. I was inspired to pursue this career by always having an appreciation for visual arts. I've always been an artistically inclined person since I was little, but it wasn't until I started doing photography that I felt I found the right medium that suited me.
3. I will graduate in Spring 2023, and plan to hopefully continue my photography career focusing on the Fine Art side of it.
4. My favorite classes were my Art History classes, as they really inspired my photography and it was great learning about different artistic movements and artists.
5. I normally study photography regularly, it is one of those things that the more you're out in the field doing the work that you learn the most.
6. I attended Plymouth High School in Plymouth, IN and was a student in the Broadcasting Team and that was my first exposure to anything related to Visual Communications.
7. Life is always going to present challenges that are unforeseen. These challenges may be daunting and it may seem like there's no way to overcome them, but being able to focus on goals that help bring happiness to your life and working towards them is what will help you overcome those obstacles.
