What area are you specializing in within Visual Communications?
Film & Video
What inspired you to pursue a career in Visual Communications?
One day I was helping a friend out with a video he was working on & he asked me to get behind the camera & when I did I saw the world from a whole new perspective.
When will you graduate? What do you plan to do after graduation?
I will graduate May 2017.Once I graduate I will Start my on media company.
What is/was your favorite class and why?
Production Editing I is my favorite class. I enjoyed Production Editing I because it challenged me to think outside the box & justify why I made certain choices.
What high school did you attend and if appropriate what kinds of classes prepared you for success in Vis Com?
Calumet Career Prep Academy in Chicago, Illinois. I didn’t take any classes in high school that prepared me for Visual Communications. At that time I was still figuring out what I wanted to do with my life.
Who is your favorite artist and why?
I have so many, but AZae Productions stands out the most. I like him because he started from the bottom and began working his way to the top. He has worked with all sorts of artist without any former education with film & video.
What is your favorite advertisement and why? Honestly, I really don’t have a favorite advertisement
What is your favorite Adobe Application and how is it used? Adobe Premiere. Is my favorite application. It allows me to edit videos with ease & it has a user friendly interface.
Do you have any advice for your fellow designers/artists? Life Quote?
Never be afraid to be you & let your personality show in all your work. The world doesn’t need another imitation the world needs you.
Successful people does the things that unsuccessful people doesn’t.
Is there anything else you wish to share?
When things get tough I remember this scripture Philippians 4:13 which says “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
